We're happy to share that Gartner has named UiPath a Leader in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Robotic Process Automation for the sixth year in a row. UiPath has been recognized for its Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.
We’re proud to have such strong robotic process automation (RPA) because its rapid time to value has proven core to any successful enterprise automation program. Great enterprise automation platforms need to have a great foundation of RPA. Because, even for the most advanced and complex processes (and the next generation of agentic workflows), RPA will often be the right choice for selected parts of the process. RPA continues to stand out for its efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use with legacy systems.
In addition to RPA, complex processes will also require generative AI capabilities, agentic capabilities, and more. As the future of business will be robotic and agentic, we are laser focused on evolving the AI skills of robots, delivering a higher level of autonomous decision making throughout the UiPath Platform. So, we’ve been doing many things to expand the reach of automation via the UiPath Business Automation Platform™.
Example: UiPath Autopilot™. UiPath Autopilot is a new set of AI-powered experiences across the UiPath Platform that make every user—from interns to CEOs—more productive. There are multiple uses for UiPath Autopilot across the platform, and they help different people in different ways. Autopilot for developers uses GenAI and natural language processing (NLP) in UiPath Studio to create workflows, create expressions, and help build automations.
Autopilot for testers equips every testing role—from developer testers to technical testers to business testers—with powerful AI-infused testing capabilities that enable testers to build resilient automations faster and unlock new testing use cases, supercharging continuous testing.
Example: UiPath AI Trust Layer. And while customers are using new AI experiences and capabilities, we’re diligently safeguarding their data via the UiPath AI Trust Layer. The AI Trust Layer ensures that your data is never stored outside of UiPath, nor is it used to train third-party models.
Example: specialized AI models. UiPath also remains committed to building best-in-class AI models for core business tasks. Consequently, we’ve released new AI enhancements for our intelligent document processing (IDP) offerings. UiPath DocPath and CommPath are specialized large language models (LLMs) that allow out-of-the-box processing of any document or message with enhanced accuracy, speed, and scalability.
Our core AI tenets remain: open and flexible. We let users use (and add) the best models available, whether they're made by UiPath, brought by users, or found from other providers.
As we make these advances in AI, we continue to recognize the importance of great RPA for enterprise automation programs. Organizations don’t need to employ an expensive LLM for every automation. Many robots just need to execute a workflow with high reliability at the lowest cost. Still, we know that a new era of AI agents is approaching; an era where robots learn new AI skills and begin to make independent decisions.
We are humbled to be a Leader again for our Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. Find out why Gartner named UiPath a Leader for the sixth year in a row:
